UHF RFID Components
The entire UHF RFID system consists of several components. The main ones are the reader, antenna and connecting cables.
The RFID UHF reader operates at the frequency range 865.6 – 867.6 MHz for the European frequency band. Up to 4 antennas can be connected to the reader. The reader can be set up and controlled remotely over the Ethernet connector. It also includes USB, CAN, GPIO and power connector.
Antennas are connected to the reader. The antenna in the basic design is covered with a square white plastic. This version is used for most applications. If this type of antenna cannot be installed, for example, into the entrance of a business unit, we can place these antennas in the mechanics made of aluminum and plexiglas. This mechanics can be easily installed on the sides or in the center of the entrance into the retail space.
UHF RFID reader
MIDICO UHF RFID reader is used for reading of the RFID tags over long distances, supporting industry standards. It operates at a frequency of 865.6 to 867.6 MHz, which is the frequency band released in Europe for these devices. The reader can connect up to 4 antennas.

UHF square antenna
Single-port MIDICO RFID antenna provides maximum performance and flexibility and is designed for the UHF band RFID. The antenna has a circular polarization and high reach, which increases the reading range. Due to the low voltage agent for standing waves, the power losses in the reader are reduced. The antenna is protected against weather by high frequency clear plastic cover, so it can be installed in any part of the business environment, halls and warehouses, or any receiver input applications.
